Daily Routine for Good Gut Health and Sustainable Energy

How many of you really strive to live a routine-based life? We all like structure, right? How else do you achieve structure other than through a healthy daily routine.

We’re still on this kick of the “New Year, New You,” mentality. Yes, 2021 feels exactly like 2020, maybe worse…

However, that is no excuse to drop all of your good intentions on creating healthy habits.

*Remember, it only takes 3 weeks or 21 days to create a new healthy habit. We are all about living a healthy lifestyle and keeping that microbiome (or gut) in check!

  1. Start your day with a large glass of water

We don’t want you waking up parched, so our first step into establishing that routine, is to drink a glass of water as soon as you wake up.

To replenish your body even more after a long night’s sleep, add a bit of lemon juice to your glass of water. What a refreshing way to start the day!

Lemon juice has some anti-inflammatory properties that help fight against ailments. Also, the main fiber in lemons is pectin. Pectin is a soluble fiber that is linked to various benefits such as gut health and digestion.

Remember to stay hydrated throughout the day as well.

  1. Exercise

Exercise is Rowdy Bars middle name!

Working out early in the morning can improve energy levels, circulation, and encourages good lymphatic function. All of these things combined feed your immune system as well.

30 minutes every day can really nourish and replenish your body, mind and soul!

Try mixing up cardio and weights throughout the week to target all areas of your body.
